BYD Launches DiPilot 100 with Horizon’s Journey™ 6 Series

Beijing, 2025 – On Feb 10, BYD took a bold step forward with the launch of its groundbreaking DiPilot Advanced Smart Driving System underscoring its commitment to making advanced smart driving accessible to all. This announcement marks the global debut of Horizon Robotics’ latest automotive-grade processing hardware, the Journey™ 6 series, now integrated into BYD’s DiPilot 100, heralding a new era of high-level smart driving that can be afforded by many.

DiPilot 100, utilizing a tri-camera setup, implemented across BYD models, featuring advanced functions such as high-speed navigation and smart parking assistance. As one of BYD’s strategic ADAS partners, Horizon is leveraging its industry-leading hardware-software integration approach to lower the economic barrier to advanced driving assistance, making state-of-the-art smart driving a reality for more consumers.

With BYD models equipped with DiPilot 100 now being delivered to consumers, the Journey™ 6 series has entered large-scale mass production as of February 2025. Engineered for versatile driving scenarios, the Journey™ 6 scalable portfolio offers an optimal balance of performance and cost with several variants. With the launch of DiPilot 100 on Journey™ 6, all of Horizon’s four generations of Journey™ solutions have been widely deployed across BYD’s model lineup.

To date, Horizon has provided state-of-the-art automotive processing hardware for more than one million of BYD vehicles, and the number is growing rapidly thanks to BYD market success.
